Very nice a place for breakfast, service was a little slow. Food tasted great, atmosphere was awesome. Chai latte was excellent!

Very cute atmosphere just off HWY 13 in North Webster. Service was a little slow because it was very busy on a Sunday. Great lattes but temp was like warm. Food presentation and flavor was great, very filling and at a good price point. Definitely stop again.

This place is ... eccentric. It's like a garage sale plus cafe/coffeehouse. The floor is covered in shellacked magazines. The ceiling is decorated with daisies. The teacups, the tables and chairs, the light fixtures -- nothing really matches. Nor is it meant to. There's a secondhand store. China, clothes, random furniture, paperbacks from the '90s. The staff is super-friendly and the owner is clearly very passionate about what she does. It's a teeny-weeny town so I don't think there's a whole lot of competition. I mean, North Webster's only claims to fame are the Mermaid Festival and a giant shoe store in a palace. Oh, and a paddleboat. We got two cups of coffee and -- we thought -- a slice of cheesecake to share. What we ended up with was two cups of coffee and two oversized slices of cheesecake. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication or if they just thought we really looked like we needed extra cheesecake. It WAS delicious -- some sort of brownie-toffee-cheesecake hybrid. Half of it is still in my fridge. The coffee was fresh and good and apparently is roasted by an Amish guy nearby. Named Vern or Marv or something. Their menu also includes homemade soup, salads, panini and other tasty-sounding food. I drive through North Webster approximately once every decade, so I can't say this is a regular stop, but I am pretty sure my mom will be back.

I have driven by this place many times and usually see lots of cars in the parking lot so I thought I would try it out for lunch. A neat little place. About 8 tables of various shapes and sizes, a cloth napkin, and your dinnerware is different than those at the next table. Looks like they have been to a number of garage sales to build their inventory. The menu is not extensive and features Panini sandwiches, soups and salads. I had the Mediterranean Panini which came with choice of soup, salad or fries. The soup of the day was asparagus which was very good. I was expecting a soup with bits of asparagus, but I assume they had pureed the soup which provided a nice texture and taste. The sandwich was excellent and with a cup of soup makes a filling lunch. The server was extremely nice and cheerful and provided good service. Most people appeared to be taking their time and enjoying themselves. Probably not the place to go if you need a quick in and out lunch, but I was in no hurry. My sandwich, soup and soda was around $10. Several tables were ordering pie for desert which seems to be a popular item.

Quality food. Not talking organic or anything, but can smell the better ingredients and care. Coffee is average, service above average. Quirky and homey at the same time.

A friendly country atmosphere for breakfast or lunch. Jason's omelets are hardy and delicious. Great sandwiches and local award winning soups are always flavorful. Specialty coffees along with Kim's wonderful pies and bakery items are a perfect complement to lunch. I often take home whole cheesecakes and pies which are big hit with our dinner guests. They have become one of the "must visit" locations in North Webster. Quality food, attentive service and a bit of consignment shopping; highly recommended.
